Project REPLICATE is a modern educational unit that connects medical specialists with on-the-ground primary care and attention providers to help bridge overall health disparities. Through ongoing telementoring, this model allows distant practitioners to improve their routines, and provides the specialists with the knowledge and equipment needed to boost patient consideration. The unit also works with a virtual community to promote learning and collaboration amongst participants.

Initially funded by Robert Hardwood Johnson Groundwork, Project ECHO has grown to add 175 hubs that serve thousands of communities across 46 states. This software also extends to international communities through programs in 34 countries, which has a focus on primary care.
